Thought for the Week

5SD51_062

“Unless I believe in God, I cannot believe in thought: so I can never use thought to disbelieve in God.” – C.S. Lewis

What motivates our decisions to believe or disbelieve? Are we genuinely seeking answers to life’s appalling questions or are we simply going for what is easier or requires less effort? At what point in our life do we stand and acknowledge that we don’t have the answers, or that the questions confuse us to the point of paralysis? God is so much greater than anything we can think of or rationale out… that’s why He is God. If we attempt to bottle God or place Him in a box of our understanding, have we limited Him? Or have we limited our understanding of Him? How small is your God?

Have a blessed week!
